Millcottage Pathfinder pet name BIFF was born in the Ribble Valley on the 29th of May 2000 he was bred by Margaret Crawford, and is owned and handled by Mr James Swindlehurst.

He won his first novice trial 12 dog stake at 17 months of age; He has taken part in nineteen, two day and one day open stakes. Gaining 14 awards including Winning his first two day open stake in 2004 at Three Ridings Labrador Club, winning a two day open stake at the Kennel Club in 2005 and the 2005 IGL Championship. Held at the Queensberry estate in Scotland. He also as 38 test awards.

On the 29th and 30th of December 2005 he took part in the Irish Kennel Club Championship Stake and was placed second.
In 2005 he ran and won in an international team event representing England against Wales, Ireland and Holland.

Three of his pups that we know have already won awards Claybrow Earl owned by Mr Swindlehurst won an All Aged Stake at 17months and Blackfoot Scout of Minstead as also won a Novice and all aged stake in 2005 White Ash Lou has won a 16 dog novice stake at Yorkshire Field Trial Society.

Claybrow Earl was born in Southport Lancashire, on the 26th of May 2004 he was bred by Mr and Mrs W. Dewhurst (gamekeepers) he was bred from their bitch Claybrow Shadow and the 2005 I.G.L. retriever champion Millcottage Pathfinder. He is owned and handled by Mr James Swindlehurst.

He qualified for the Irish Championships by winning two 16 dog open trials at shannonside, Co. Clare, he has also 6 English '2 day' field trial awards.
In 2006 Claybow Earl ran in an inter club team event at Chatsworth and was on the winnig team, in 2007 he ran in an international team event representing England and was again on the winning team.
Claybrow Earl won an all age field trial stake at 18 months old to qualify to opens.
