ANSWER
Log in and on the User Menu select Add a Dog
Select your breed and that it is a Dog or Bitch
On the next screen firstly fill in the title (this could be the name of the dog)
Then click in the large edit area.
You will be able to write text in here alot like using word.
To insert an image (Firstly resize your image to approx 500 x 500 pixels and rename it one word ie. bob1.jpg not bob 1.jpg) click image on the bottom left under the main edit box. This brings up central box, at the bottom left of the box in blue writing is upload. Below that will be a browse box. You will now be able to browse your own computer for a suitable image. Now select start upload next to the browse box.
Once the image has uploaded it will show in the space above. Highlight the image you wish to enter and select Insert in the top right hand corner.
This will insert a small box with a red cross in it most likely at the top of the main edit box. You can now drag the image to where you want it.
( please ensure you have resized your image first as files direct from digital cameras are far too large )
( image names must be all one word and have no spaces ie. ben 1.jpg should be renamed to ben1.jpg )
To add a pedigree you have 2 options.
A 3 generation pedigree that is displayed on the page
or
An Excel or Word document that is uploaded and viewed as an attachment.
If you wish to use the 3 generation pedigree select Insert Pedigree at the bottom left under the main edit box. A box will appear click on the word pedigree in blue on the left then select Insert on the top right. You will now be able to edit the pedigree info and type in your own dogs pedigree.
To move the pedigree you can hover over the top left corner of it and click which highlights it then you can cut and past it to a new location.
To upload an attachment you need to firstly save your document as it is. You can then go and edit it and you will then have a new item on the bottom left which is upload an attachment.
