      We are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Instructor Scheme   

We offer one to one or small group training working towards the Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate.

Here at Macgiriaght Gundogs we have been involved in shooting and field sports for over three decades. We have proven experience in 3 different Spaniel breeds (English Springer, Cocker and Clumber)  and most recently with Retrievers. Indeed, we are the first kennel in the UK to win Field Trials with three different spaniel breeds.

Our spaniels are part of our family, and they also work for a living, as well as competing in Trials and Working Tests.

We pride ourselves on possessing and producing loyal, friendly and trainable dogs. The sort of dog that makes a superb family member and a quality shooting companion.

We are leading the way as a “Working Kennel” in health testing for all of our dogs. Our dogs are health tested and have proven working ability in the field. We strongly believe in the adage of “Fit for life, Fit for function”.

We have innumerable testimonials as well as many clients who keep coming back to us for another family or team member. This proves that we are doing something right !!
