Harry Hawksby has been involved with working gundogs for nearly 35 years. He has maintained and developed the Maylandlea family line of Labradors for over 30 years. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a very competent amateur in the training and development of working gundogs both Labradors and Cocker Spaniels.  He does not breed commercially, having a very strict breeding policy of only doing so when he wants to expand his own family of gundogs, as a consequence he occasionally has puppies for sale. An enthusiastic shooting man he knows what is required to develop, educate, and breed top quality gundogs with good manners, character and above all a kind temperament.
