Africandawns Gundog Training Centre has been training client's dogs for many years on a residential basis and we occasionally sell top class ready trained dogs and indeed we still do train for clients all over the world. But times change, and now there is more demand from people wishing to train their own dog and whilst full of enthusiasm individuals not only need guidance from competent experienced trainers but also require the facilities to develop and expand their own and their dogs experience. We have therefore put together a good working programme to suit the novice to the more experienced gundog owner.

I may be a professional gundog trainer, but I also like shooting, and the countryside and conservation is very important to me.

I know very well the joys of a day's shooting, with a good well trained canine companion. A well trained gundog is as important as your gun and wellies, where you go he goes and will often find game you would have otherwise lost.
